Set of 8 oak Art Nouveau chairs with dark outlined inlays on the frames, made in the early 20th century. The back rests has four arches, a very architectural element, in a very clean and minimalist design. Especially for being from the period it is. The chairs also has a lot of elements from the Arts & Crafts movement with their tall and straight back rests. Unconfirmed information states that they are Finnish in origin but there have been nothing to support that theory but we thought it was worth mentioning. One of the chairs lack the dark inlay so that particular chair may be done at a slightly later period to complete the set. But it's for sure very early as well. The front left leg of that chair has a slight twist to it but it does not impact the stability and usage at any level. New Art Nouveau style fabric to the seats in a black and white pattern. Overall in a good vintage condition with light ware consistent with age and use. A few of the chairs have been glued and repaired to gain stability.
