Swedish coffee table, model Prisma/2, in blonde Walnut with the original thick glass top, produced by Tingströms Möbelfabrik in Valdemarsvik (Sweden) in the late 1960s. The model came out on the market in 1966 (alongside a model called Prisma/1 in the same series) and it is to this day not totally clear who the designer is. A lot point to Alf Svensson who was one of the main designer for Tingströms alongside a few of his well established colleagues like Folke Ohlsson and the duo Engström & Myrstrand. Alf, together with with Yngvar Sandström, had about the same time designed a very similar table för Fröseke who also produced furniture, and mostly mirrors, in this period of time. There for it's believed that it is Mr Svensson who is the designer. Very good vintage condition with light ware consistent with age and use.
