Quite rare long chair, model Sitinut, designed by Göte Göperts for his own firm Botema AB in 1963. Black leather seat and back mounted on a metal construction on beech legs. Mr Göperts is also the man behind another firm called Göperts Möbler who was the predecessor of Botema AB but made more traditional furniture. The Sitinut chair was one of the first designs he made for his new firm. A fun fact is that Göte Göperts was originally named Göte Persson but changed his last name to Göperts which is a mix between the two names. He just took the first few letters of each name Gö-te Per-sson and came up with the name Göperts. The chair is in a very good vintage condition with light ware consistent with age and use including a few marks and scratches on the legs.
