Set of 6 chairs designed by Swedish architect Gunnar Asplund for Iwan B. Giertz in Flen, Sweden, 1930s. This model was shown on the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition. Mainly at the outdoor "Festplatsen" (Party place) but also at the Brokaféet (The bridge café). The model is well documented in various literature from the exhibition. The chairs have been completely restored, both structural and visual with new white paint. Almost all of the wooden planks from the seats and back rests are the original and genuine thing to keep the integrity of this design and just a very few have been replaced with new material. Overall very good condition with minor ware consistent with age and use. It's of course possible to see that some of the wood are used but that's a part of the chairs history.
