Oval tray shaped Mahogany side table / coffee table / lamp table produced by Swedish form Bodafors in the 1950s. The table looks lika a tray table with the differens that the table top is not removable like a regular tray table. But the frame underneath the table top has a portion on the short sides that has been reduced to make a grip friendly area if you want to move the table around. The unidentified designer clearly thought of this as a flexible pice of furniture that should be easy to move around the house if one needed an extra table to but food, beverages, decoration, lamps or other stuff on. A well made pice of Swedish design. Good vintage condition with normal ware consistent with age and use including a few marks and light scratches.
